Tesla wants to cut size of Plank from 11 Supervisors

Tesla plans to cut its own board of directors from 11 to seven at a transfer the auto maker says will make it possible for the board to act nimbly and efficiently.

Tesla says are not leaving because of any disagreement with the company.

Tesla disclosed the modifications Friday.

Linda Johnson Rice, a director, and brad Buss will depart at the yearly meeting in June. Two premature Tesla investors, Stephen Jurvetson and Antonio Gracias, will depart next year if shareholders approve the changes.

The board would go from three types of directors serving staggered three-year terms to 2 groups completing two-year terms that are staggered.
